The Lights of my home- orange, yellow, metal, man made. But, when I look up, I see another kind of light: stories of my ancestors, and stars that are perhaps only ghosts. Both kinds of lights mean the world to me. They are my home.

It dances across the stratosphere, blurring the boundaries of sky and earth, stretching its limits with every heartbeat. It still runs, a spirit untamed. Forever weaving through the heavens and across the world below.

When rising from the ground, I want to see the brilliance and beauty that the darkest nights often hide from us. Colors burn and spark like fireworks, yet the breakthrough of the century does not fade once the show is over. It only drives us forward.
